Get the game ready, find the server, and let the launcher handle the mods.

  1. 01

    Get your game ready

    DayZ for PC on Steam, plus the DayZ Badlands DLC installed. Update the game and keep Steam open.

  2. 02

    Open the DZSA Launcher

    Get DZSA from its official website , then point it to your DayZ installation if prompted.

  3. 03

    Find Bluest Badlands

    Search “Bluest Badlands”. Choose the public server and add it to your favorites. Private test listings are not the community server.

  4. 04

    Install the mods. Join the story.

    Click play, accept the required Workshop downloads, and wait for Steam to finish. Rejoin through the launcher with the server’s required mods.

HIT A ROADBLOCK?

The server isn’t showing up.
Clear restrictive launcher filters, refresh the list, and search just “Bluest”. Check Discord announcements for maintenance or listing changes. Use the current connection details posted by the team if you need Direct Connect.
I’m getting a mod mismatch or missing mod error.
Close DayZ, let Steam finish its Workshop downloads, then refresh the server’s required mods in your launcher. Repair the specific mod named in the error if the launcher offers that option. Avoid loading unrelated mods. If it persists, share a screenshot in Discord.
Can I use the official DayZ Launcher?
Yes. Open the launcher’s Servers tab, select Community, and search for the server. When joining, use its option to set up the required mods. DZSA is the route advertised for Bluest Badlands.
Can I join from Xbox or PlayStation?
These Bluest servers are for DayZ on PC through Steam. Console players cannot join these modded PC servers.
